So I was watching that new Lady Gaga video "Born this way'' and at some parts it just seemed kind of weird and off putting but then it suddenly gets beautiful. Now I have allot of respect for Lady Gaga as an artist I find there is an uncommon depth and sophistication in her work, while at the same time primal and simplicity.
Anyways like I said there where parts of the video that just felt awkward but through out the song that awkwardness was resolved. Afterwards I could see the beauty.
I took this as a metaphor for coming out or any deep life change for that matter. In the beginning it is awkward and confusing but as you learn as you grow it becomes beautiful. At the beginning you are kind of just running with out a guideline and nothing has prepared you for what you are going though. And in life that is always awkward and hard. It is easy to judge someone before they have completed their task.
But the very reality is they are in the process of improving and end they should they stay the course they will emerge beautiful.
And that my friend is worth celebrating!
My life is simple, my food is plain, and my quarters are uncluttered. In all things, I have sought clarity. I face the troubles and problems of life and death willingly. Virtue, integrity and courage are my priorities. I can be approached, but never pushed; befriended but never coerced; killed but never shamed. - Yi Sunshin

Romanticism and Modern Professionalism
I have always imagined Da Vinci as a man drawn by passion, that it hung on his every word and was manifest in every aspect of his life. He did not fit in a box because he has vision, he could see beyond contemporary perception. Imagine if he had sacrificed this passion for 8 hours a day, what would he have accomplished then? Would he be remembered at all?
This modern business world has become so dehumanized and shallow. Commerce is about creation, it is an extension of art, of science! Why then should we resign ourselves to a work life that is not filled with excitement and sensation. If only by the way we approach it.
What if we were to approach our life like a great chef approaches his cuisine. Savoring the experiences, the relationships, the events and even the labor for there is great beauty there as well. I have become all to accustom to this modern dehumanization and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
It is as if during the daylight hours we are robbed of our natural personality then we make a feeble attempt to return our true nature when we retreat into our homes. Where is imagination, the very faculty the separated us for a world of reaction to a world of prediction and anticipation.
What I mean is that life should not be a hopeless submission and if the majority of people feel that way then obviously we are doing something wrong. We are acting against our very natures, and this is foolish.

Bella Donna
Bella donna why is there pain behind your beauty, torment inside your smile.
Hidden by the beauty of your form.
What is ascetics with out context, the monna lisa with our her smile or the Venus with out her charms?
Hollow beauty is but a passing moment that fades quickly from the mind. A great tragedy that plays out too often
Admiration of form does not endure but within the cruel hearts of those not worthy of the title of men.
They who would buy and sell a lioness simply to have her kept and tamed. To have her simple
What then my bella donna. What beauty is there in the eyes of a woman divorced from her heart.
What fire is there in the heart of a lioness that resigns herself to her cage?
Hidden by the beauty of your form.

There Comes A Moment
There comes a moment when you have become too aware of what could be that you lose all patience with the impotence of today. There comes a point when you are just simply tired of having inefficiency and irrationality controlling your life.
It comes to a point when you are willing to risk everything in order to build. But that would be a mistake.
Any change that endures is through lasting momentum. Even the successful victory of a military is decided by the factors that lead up to conflict. It is through surviving and laying foundations for a fundamental change that we create a clear path to victory.
Victory is a process commonly misunderstood as a single event.

Competition
Like loyalty many people have the ambition of competition for the wrong reasons. Competition can in itself become a form of bondage or salvation. Fighting for a single hope that you will be granted your freedom if you emerge as a champion. How can this not be a worth while goal? It is freedom that we strive for. Freedom to exercise our will as we see fit, but this freedom again is illusory as it is false. At this moment we are deceived into believing a fiction. The fiction is ourselves and we will tear apart the world simply to maintain the idea that we exist.
The self as we know it is just that, simply a simple idea. We have awareness, emotions, senses and mind but what about these makes us distinct. When the mind is active we may ignore the world around us and to us it will not have occurred at all outside of our conception. What we have is an imagined version of what we have witness but it is not the thing itself. As is our idea of who we are, we are nothing and we are everything we are an awareness that is filled with the changing senses and the contemplation of mind. Nothing remains eternally within our awareness and this is where any semblance of self resides.
Yet what form does it bare? It is but a mirror for which the world to reflect it is space that is none. We are in reality but known space in which this world occurs. Space is not empty but it is not the thing that occupies it.
When you ask yourself long enough who you are, you eventually find out that this question was mute. Once you have seen this you return to the things that occupy your space; your mind, your emotions and your senses. They remain as they always have yet this understanding refines our question of competition. Competition is not with the external world but defining the things that occupy your space.
What does it mean to recognize that will has not inherent value but that it is a simple tool to create the reality that you experience. Because of this we are not separate from the world and our awareness of this fact changes our action. A meal is only so delicious when you are paying attention savoring it in some way. When your attention is focused else where your awareness is not as acute. This is the same with your own space. This is root of the concept of Karma, your actions will be experiences within your space you cannot deny this and in order to avert your gaze you are required to pull away form the world in certain instances. In other words actions that cause you to pull away will prevent you from savoring your own life.
If in the end all we are is an awareness and the ability to act. What then should we do? When you ask this question you have not understood. Let go of yourself and relate to the space within yourself authentically. It is ironic that the conception of an independent and fixed self is what keeps you from an authentic understanding of reality and an authentic way of living.
It is to clear your mind. To let go of the conceptions and ideas that have already pasts, to start anew in every instant. Knowledge is infinity tied to emptiness.
Simply focus upon what feels good and examine it throughly, continue to empty your mind and start anew.

A new blog,
It is amazing what reality brings. Always more then I had imagined. The more aware I have become, the deeper my joy within this world.
I have made some recent decisions lately that have given me great opportunity to witness true character. What is ironic about character is that it may be exploited. Good character in bad circumstances. Like loyalty, which in in itself is good. But as Machiavelli has said "Just as much harm can be done with evil as misplaced goodness"...well he did not say it exactly like this, I have added misplaced. Since I believe it adds greater context to the statements to the intention.
Loyalty with out understanding the context by which you act, does not allow you to truly connect or understand the object that is so deserving of your loyalty. With out vision we are separated , with out belief the object of our loyalty eludes us simply because we cannot see it in our hearts. With out vision there is no unity of purpose, with out vision there is no sincere belief.
With out vision how can you know awareness? With out vision how can you know merit? With out vision how can you know?
With out knowing how can your actions be any more then good intentions placed with out wisdom or strategy. It is with creativity and vision with our application of virtue that we allow goodness to manifest.
